Moist and heat regulating Nanotechnology facade paint

Billions of microscopically small hollow glass spheres confer the coating with characteristics which regulate heat and moisture and ensure a noticeable improvement during temperature peaks. Humidity and temperature are held at a more constant level. This not only increases the feeling of comfort within building, but also lowers air conditioning costs and heating costs.

Eliminates surface wetting related problems

Bioni Perform possesses impressive physical properties and its outstanding qualities ensure best possible, permanent protection for the facade against the effects of the environment and the weather. The combination of its efficient water vapor diffusion characteristics together with its hydrophobic nature ensures that moisture can migrate out of the wall while at the same time rain water will be repelled from the surface - damage caused by dampness is prevented and energy losses are reduced.
 

                    

To prevent the growth of algae and moss Bioni Perform has been formulated to incorporate a unique nano effect which enables it to defeat micro organisms effectively and permanently without resorting to the use of conventional fungicides and preservatives.

The Materials Test Institute in Bremen confirmed the high efficiency of Bioni Perform. It also showed that no air pollution emissions such as biocides are released into the environment. Yet another example of Bioni's outstanding technology.

Constant high energy efficiency of a painted building!

Bioni Perform has thermal conductivity value (=0.1604 W/mK as per Dubai Municipality tested) which is more than 10 times lower than the thermal conductivity value of concrete (approx. 2.00 W/mK).

The thermal insulation of a wall can be reduced by up to 40% if it contains 5% moisture by volume. Over 50% of heat loss can be through walls. Therefore dry walls will make a huge difference to the temperature of any building, and to heating and/or cooling bills. Rooms will be warmer in winter and cooler in summer eliminating condensation and mould problems. Bioni Perform reflects up to 93 % of the incoming sun rays which reduces the heat absorption into the wall and also reduces temperature related expansions of wall panels. This will stop facade panels and render from cracking and will make expansion joints last longer.
